Position: Office Manager
Location: Smelter Bay Aggregates, Thessalon, Ontario
Position Summary: We are looking for an intelligent, ambitious person who has the ability to progress to a management position with Lafarge North America. The person in this position is primarily responsible for financial and production reporting. Other duties will include purchasing, AP/AR, & Payroll.
Education: University/College graduate with a degree/diploma in Business.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and safety in a manufacturing environment. They will be adept at identifying and resolving problems, prioritizing and planning work activities. You will inspire and motivate others to perform well. Attention to detail, good judgment and tact are critical. Experience in aggregates, mining, building materials, or construction industries would be an asset. Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Google Forms is required. Experience using SAP would be an asset.
